Filipinos will no longer need to travel overseas to experience walking on a glass bridge, as the first
glass walkway in the Philippines will soon be open to the public.
The first glass walkway in the Philippines will be the Miracle Walk, located at the Montemaria International Pilgrimage & Conference Center, Brgy. Pagkilatan, Batangas City. The Miracle Walk is 45 meters high and 118 meters long, making it perfect for thrill-seekers looking for an adrenaline rush. It is said to be made of three-inch-thick glass and reinforced with strong, imported metals for extra support and stability.
In addition to the upcoming glass walkway, Montemaria International Pilgrimage & Conference Center Philippines is also looking forward to building new landmarks such as the Rosary Trek, Marine Museum, a building for residency, a hotel, and an infinity pool.
Montemaria International Pilgrimage & Conference Center Philippines in Batangas is a pilgrimage center dedicated to Mary, the Mother of All Asia. It attracts tourists, devotees, and pilgrims with its statue of Mary situated on a plateau 148 meters above sea level, with a view of the Verde Island passage.
It is also seen as a potential tourism village with the addition of the soon-to-open PH first glass bridge Montemaria and more establishments.
As of this writing, the attraction has yet to be opened to the public as the required documents are still being processed by the local government unit, ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are in place before welcoming visitors.
The much-anticipated attraction began in 2023 and is expected to welcome tourists before Christmas in 2024. Visitors can look forward to exploring this exciting new destination for an estimated entrance fee of PhP200 to PhP350.
Get ready to experience a unique adventure and appreciate Batangas’ view with this upcoming first glass walkway in the Philippines located in Batangas.
