According to the PAG-ASA, the coming
summer season might bring water shortage in the following months. The main reason for the possible lack in the coming summer is the dropping water level at Angat Dam, where Metro Manila sources its waters. [4]
Since the water level is decreasing, there should be an expected decrease in water pressure in faucets. The public is advised to conserve more water as the water and weather bureau try other procedures like cloud seeding to increase water supply.
In addition to this, the National Water Resources Board (NWRB) has yet to finalize the water allocation for Metro Manila as of March 30. Still, it is expected to be finished this early April.
