Tagaytay City sets Alert Level 3 guidelines and health protocols for leisure activities.

Tagaytay City will be undergoing stricter safety protocols since the province reverted to Alert Level 3 last January 5. As a preventive measure against the threat of a new COVID-19 surge. In an Executive Order No. 44 signed and issued by Tagaytay Mayor Agnes Tolentino, Alert Level 3 guidelines include curfew hours from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM. In addition, under Alert Level 3, venue capacities will vary depending on the setting: 30% for indoor and 50% for outdoor, given that all staff and attendees are fully-vaccinated.

Tagaytay cinemas will operate only at 30% capacity for indoors and 50% for outdoors as part of health protocols. Several entertainment and leisure activities in Tagaytay will also be prohibited, such as betting shops, live performances, and funfairs under Alert Level 3 guidelines. Other indoor establishments and leisure activities allowed to operate under alert level 3 at 30% for fully vaccinated people include the following:

● Amusement Parks
● Dine-in services
● Film, music, and tv production
● Fitness studios and non-contact sports
● Licensure exams
● Personal care services
● Recreational venues
● Religious gatherings

Other parts of Tagaytay’s Alert Level 3 guidelines include banning unvaccinated individuals from leisure activities, leisure spots, and business establishments. Vaccination cards must be presented before entry as part of health protocols. Interzonal and intrazonal travels are also limited for 18 to 65 years old only.
