According to a recent post by the Palawan Provincial Tourism Office, El Nido remains the
top destination for travelers in Palawan. From January 1 to April 16, 2024, the town attracted over one million visitors solely for its tourist attractions.

El Nido, Palawan, has captivated the hearts of many tourists seeking an unforgettable tropical adventure.
Puerto Princesa City comes after El Nido with 65,000, Coron with 53,000, San Vicente with 43,000, and Balabac with 35,000 visitors.
Palawan, a gem among the Philippines' islands, has experienced a significant surge in tourism. Compared to the same quarter in 2023, there has been a staggering increase of 58,248 visitors. This remarkable growth is a promising sign for the tourism industry, which has bravely weathered the challenges of the pandemic. Palawan is setting its sights high, aiming to surpass its 2019 record of 1.9 million tourist arrivals. This year, the province is targeting two million tourists, a goal Provincial Tourism Officer Maribel Buñi aims to achieve.
