This newest travel and tourist spot in Palawan is set to open in 2023. The well-known lifestyle and entertainment precinct shall feature high-class accommodations,
indoor activities, water activities, iconic amenities such as the electric go-kart circuit and track, two-family beach clubs, and a mini-golf course.
Palawan Sands is managed under the Shangri-La Group, designed to be a beach playground with indoor and water activities designed for the whole family’s enjoyment. When you plan your Palawan staycation for 2023, then Palawan Sands is the best place to go.
As for further details, Palawan Sands will feature its signature
amenities designed to be family-friendly, starting with the electric go-kart. The electric go-kart, or the
HyperDrive, is a pioneering gamified electric go-kart circuit with added virtual gaming features. The HyperDrive features eco-friendly electric carts and a three-level race track. As the Shangri-La group described, guests and participants will collect ‘weapons’ to eliminate their competitors to ‘boost’ their race.
The next feature for the highly-anticipated tourist spot and probably the most highlighted feature is the two beach clubs. Also named the
Family Beach Club, this amenity will complement Palawan’s beach location with a sandcastle theme. The beach clubs shall be designed to be used by families, making this
accommodation child-friendly. This accommodation will also have a space for water activities, water play, and cabanas for lounging. A terraced beach club to be positioned at the far end area of Palawan Sands is excitingly going to be also built, which will feature the majestic views of the beach and the sunsets of Palawan. This amenity shall be called “
+ Twelve”, wherein 12 terraced private cabanas will be set up, and each cabana will have its own private pool.
Another accommodation that will let kids enjoy more
water activities is the floating water theme park, also called the
HydroDash, designed to provide thrilling amenities for the children.
Lastly, another highlighted accommodation is the 18-hole mini-golf course, called the
UltraGolf, which is also part of the newest and anticipated tourist spot in
Palawan. The golf course will be built to fit not just adults but shall be designed to provide for all ages, including children.
As travel and leisure become more eased even though the country is still in a pandemic, tourism in the Philippines continues to improve, and tourist visits gradually escalate. With this, tourists and Filipinos can expect more tourist spots to reopen and be established.
