The iconic K-pop girl group 2NE1 has recently revealed the initial set of concerts for the Asia leg of their highly anticipated 'Welcome Back' world tour, scheduled from 2024 to 2025. Their first stop? It’s Manila!
2NE1's Welcome Back Asia Tour will have six stops around Asia, starting in the last quarter of this year and continuing through 2025. The first stop will be Manila on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
All four members—CL, Dara, Bom, and Minzy—are expected to participate in their comeback Asia tour. In case you didn’t know, Dara started her showbiz journey here in the Philippines, so many Filipino fans are sure to be excited about the girl group's reunion concert.
The information regarding the exact venue and the pricing for tickets is yet to be announced.
Apart from Manila, the iconic group will also perform in Jakarta, Indonesia, on November 23.
The concert is their comeback reunion, eight years after disbanding in 2016.
In 2009, 2NE1 released their debut extended play, featuring the hit singles "Fire" and "I Don't Care". The latter won the Mnet Asian Music Award for Song of the Year, making 2NE1 the first idol group to receive a daesang (grand prize) in their debut year.
