The Philippines has one of the largest numbers of Taylor Swift fans worldwide, so when the announcement for The Eras Tour was released, and the Philippines was not on the list, Swifties were quite disappointed. To cope with this sad news, Swifties in the Philippines held various The Eras Tour shows around Metro Manila, with fellow Pinoy Swifties alongside the trending drag queen and impersonator of Taylor Swift herself, Taylor Sheesh.
This year, Taylor Swift once again spoiled her fans with her announcement that The Eras Tour isn’t the only thing they’re taking worldwide. Taylor Swift’s highest-grossing concert now has a film version and is available to watch worldwide, including in the Philippines. The Eras Tour movie started screening in SM Cinemas, Megaworld Cinemas, Robinsons Movieworld, and Ayala Mall Cinemas from October 13 to 15 and October 19 to 22. If you missed watching The Eras Tour movie on those dates, you can still watch the film from October 26 to 29 and November 2 to 5 in the mentioned cinemas except for Ayala Malls Cinemas.
