Bacolod’s signature best pasalubong delicacies, Merzci Bread and Pastries, launched its first-ever branch in Metro Manila with a grand opening of the new branch last October 14.
Merczi Bread and Pastries pushed through the opening of the new branch beyond Bacolod City to bring the best of Bacolod’s pastries and delicacies and all Merczi products to Filipinos. It expands its market to other parts of the Philippines in Luzon, Cebu, and Mindanao, other than catering to clients from Bacolod and Negros with the new
Merczi Manila branch.
The grand launching of the pasalubong brand’s 66th branch was also participated by CM and Sons CEO, President Jonathan Manuel T. Lo, along with other members of the family.
Merczi Bacolod’s bestselling delicacies like Piaya and Napoleones are among the many treats available at the new Merczi Manila branch.
Bacolod’s signature pasalubong staples include cashew butterscotch, barquillos, special tarts, crunchy biscocho, ugoy-ugoy, and banana chips.
Merczi’s pasalubong staples are also available at the new Manila branch.
Merczi Bread and Pastries in the Manila branch are also welcome to cater to wholesalers who want to partner with one of the biggest delicacy brands in the country as it further expands and distributes its products to other areas in the Metro. Interested dealers may also directly go and inquire at the new Manila branch.
Pasalubong products from Merczi Bread and Pastries used to be marketed under the brand name “Merci”, a French word that means ‘thank you’. The brand name rebranded to ‘Merczi’, continuing to serve its customers' tasty pastries and delicacies since 1995.
The new Merzci Bread and Pastries Manila branch is located at a highway in the city, along 1637 to 1639 Blumentritt Road – Oroquieta Road, Santa Cruz, Manila. The first-ever
Merczi Manila store is situated along the border of Quezon City and Manila and between the streets of Rizal Avenue in the Santa Cruz District and Tuazon Street in the Sampaloc District.
