Novotel Food Exchange Manila buffet spreads went on hiatus to comply with Inter-agency Task Force (IATF) regulations during the pandemic. But it’s back last month, with four different themes for every Sunday of the month! I found myself one Sunday morning in
Novotel Manila to partake of their Sunday brunch buffet, Cultural Palates.
On the day I was there, the Mumbai Express Sunday brunch buffet was being offered, which meant there were gorgeous spreads of
authentic Indian cuisines. I particularly enjoyed the crispy papadams, curried veggies, spicy shrimps, chicken tandoori, Indian kebabs, exquisitely cooked mutton and beef dishes, and some creamy keema, an all-time favorite.
But having a theme does not mean other cuisines and favorite dishes would be absent. The themed Sunday buffet has the usual live cooking stations, dessert and salad bars, pizza and pasta, delicious carvings and platters, the finest seafood selections, cheese and charcuterie, and savory dishes from
Novotel Manila’s culinary experts from various regions.
Apart from the themed Cultural Palates brunch celebration on Sundays,
Novotel Manila buffet spreads are also open every Friday and Saturday. Lunch is from 12:00 noon to 2:30 PM, and dinner is from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Fridays. Lunch is from 12:00 noon to 2:30 PM on Saturdays, and Sunday brunch starts at 11:30 AM until 2:30 PM.
The Friday and Saturday buffets are available for PhP1,688 net/person, while the Sunday brunch spreads are PhP2,488 net/person.
