1. Komiket: The Filipino Komiks and Art Market

The Philippines has a rich comics culture that boomed during the late 60s. To celebrate modern Filipino comics, Komiket showcases homegrown talents and their creations. The event also lets comic enthusiasts interact with indie and established artists. Besides comic books, you can also buy prints, stickers, keychains, and pins at the event.
Tip for a good experience: Since the event moved to a bigger and more accessible venue, expect more visitors. Arrive early to avoid long queues at the entrance.
How to get to SM Megamall: Take the MRT-3 then get off at Shaw Boulevard Station. Get off at the side near the EDSA Shangri-La and walk towards Megamall. Megatrade Hall is on the 5th floor.
2. Brush Lettering Basics Workshop

Want to learn basic lettering? This event might be the time for you to start. The Brush Lettering Basics workshop is a three-hour session that is designed for beginners. With topics like basic terms and different materials, the workshop covers introduction to pen care, kinds of brush pens, and paper options. There will also be exercises on basic stroke drills and letterforms. If you don’t have materials, don't worry; the workshop’s inclusions are two brush pens and brush lettering worksheets.
Tip for a good experience: The workshop is open to all ages, so you can also bring your parents and siblings for an ultimate bonding experience. But if you plan to go alone, it's also a great place to make new friends!
How to get to Papemelroti Artisan’s Workshop, Papemelroti Main Branch: Take the MRT to Cubao-Araneta Station. From there, go to the overpass over the intersection of Aurora Boulevard and EDSA to cross Aurora Boulevard. Get off the overpass at the southbound side of EDSA. Right after the overpass is the corner of Sgt. J Catolos Street, where a terminal of jeepneys that traverse Don Roces Avenue is located. Pay the PhP9 minimum fare and ask to be dropped off at Scout Tobias. You will get off exactly in front of Papemelroti's Main Branch. The artisan workshop is on the second floor.
3. Art Market in Art in Island

For those who are into quirky and unique items, you are guaranteed to find stickers, illustrations, accessories, shirts, zines, and tattoos in fun designs. The best part about this? You’re supporting Filipino artisans and craftsmen in their business!
Tip for a good experience: Bring your own eco bag or tote bag to carry your items. Not only is it more convenient, but it’s also good for the environment.
How to get to Art in Island: Ride any bus that will pass by Cubao or ride the MRT to Cubao Station. From the station, walk along the eastbound side of Aurora Boulevard until you reach 15th Avenue. Walk along this avenue until you see Art in Island, which shall be on the right side of the road.
4. ALT Philippines 2020

ALT Philippines is a collaboration of 10 galleries: 1335 Mabini, Artinformal, Blanc, Vinyl on Vinyl, Underground, The Drawing Room, Galleria Duemila, Finale Art File, MO_Space, and West Gallery. Their mission is to revitalize the local art scene by showcasing artworks from over 150 leading Filipino contemporary artists. The project aims to create an immersive gathering and engagement among artists, visitors, and art professionals.
Tip for better experience: Always check for a sign that confirms that an artwork is interactive before touching it.
How to go to SM Aura Premiere: Ride any bus with an “Ayala Ibabaw” sign. Ask the driver to drop you off at the unloading zone near the MRT Ayala Station. From there, walk to the southbound side of EDSA where you will find a jeepney heading to Market! Market! Alight at Market! Market! and cross the pedestrian lane to reach SM Aura Premier. The SMX is located at the 3rd and 4th floor.
5. The Art Fair Philippines

Art Fair Philippines returns for another year. The event is a known platform in showing stunning modern and contemporary Philippine visual arts. With its mission to make art accessible to enthusiasts, Art Fair highlights both upcoming and established Filipino art practitioners. The 2020 edition is expected to bring new sections such as ArtFairPH/Open Studios, ArtFairPH/Film, and ArtFairPH/Incubators.
Tip for a good experience: If you purchased your tickets online, present a valid ID as verification on the day of the event. For group bookings of up to 10 persons, e-mail the organizer in advance.
How to get to The Link Ayala Center Makati: Ride the MRT to Ayala Station. From the station, go to the side of SM Makati. Walk along Ayala Avenue until you see Promod Greenbelt. Turn left to West St until you see Glorietta 3 park near Bon Chon. The Link is just across the park, beside Tim Hortons. It takes approximately 9 minutes walk to get to the area via MRT-Ayala Station.
6. Sticker Con MNL 2020
When:February 29, 2020; 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Are you a sticker hoarder? StickerCon MNL is the perfect venue for you to buy stickers to your heart’s content. It doesn’t matter what you're a fan of—K-pop, anime, or other TV shows and movies—you can find stickers for you at the event. Each booth features creative stickers and prints from talented local and indie artists.
Tip for a good experience: Bayanihan Center is not that big so the amount of booths can be overwhelming. If you want to know which stickers to get firsthand, check the event page for the list of featured artists and check their work. Bring your own envelope during the event to protect your purchased stickers.
How to get to Bayanihan Center: Ride the MRT Line 3 and get off at Shaw Boulevard Station. Walk down towards Shaw Boulevard. Ride a jeep going to Pasig and get off at Tropical Hut. From there, ride a tricycle to Bayanihan Center.
