Traffic News
Expect heavier traffic around Roxas Boulevard
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) advises the public to get ready for heavier traffic around Roxas Boulevard in the coming two months. This is due to the relocation of electric posts in the area for the construction of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project. MMDA stated that the affected area would be between Redemptorist Road and Bradco Avenue [2].
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) officially deemed motorcycle taxis “illegal” after reports and a study found that this transportation method violates guidelines set by the Technical Working Group (TWG) of DOTr. Enforcement is not definite yet, but according to statements, it could start soon [4].
