LTFRB amends UV Express pick up and drop off policy
LTFRB issued MC No. 2019-25, which amends MC 2009-19. The latest MC removes the previous two-kilometer radius policy. Under this previous rule, UV Express vehicles can pick up and drop off passengers within two kilometers of their assigned endpoints. With the new memo, passengers could only board and get off at UV Express terminals and not at any point in between [3].
Closure of Marcos Highway Bridge expected to cause heavy traffic
Heads up to commuters who pass by the Marcos Highway on a daily basis: expect heavier traffic around the area for four months. According to Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), commuters and private car owners can take the following alternate routes [4]:
• Light vehicles heading to Quezon City can take the taxi bay or service road of SM City Marikina.
• Light vehicles from Cubao can take the westbound lane from Antipolo.
