Experience a Night Out You Won't Soon Forget at Three Little Pigs
No one can keep this hidden bar in Kapitolyo a secret.

Being a working millennial can take a lot out of you. It takes serious skill to be able to work eight hours every day, do chores, maintain personal relationships, and still somehow get enough sleep. This is why leisure activities are a must if you want to avoid burnout. After all, even God Himself took a break. One popular (and really fun) way to de-stress is by visiting bars with your buddies. Fortunately, Metro Manila has a roster of bar options everywhere. Unfortunately, most, if not all of them, offer the same vibe, drinks, and overall experience—except for one. Enter Three Little Pigs.
Nestled in Kapitolyo, otherwise known as the neighborhood to check out for the best food and drink places in Pasig, is Three Little Pigs. And if you think this is just your typical bar that’ll offer you the typical night you’ll soon forget, you are gravely mistaken. Since we ourselves are hardworking individuals also in need of a breather, we checked out Kapitolyo’s newest secret. We then quickly figured out that our first visit to Three Little Pigs wouldn’t be our last. Read on to see why.
The Story So Far

Opened in late 2018, Three Little Pigs is an up-and-coming speakeasy bar from Pylon Partners, a holding and management company that handles different businesses in the Philippines. Pylon Partners is the mother company of other popular brands all over the country such as Drinkka, Bevtools, and Lazy Bastard.
The Quirky Concept
Three Little Pigs brings a different kind of drinking experience.
A speakeasy is a place that sold alcohol illegally in the 1920s and 1930s. Back then, since this business was unlawful, a speakeasy was generally hard to find. But with Three Little Pigs, there is no need to worry as they chose to embrace only the hidden bar concept and not the illegal alcohol part.
The experience begins the moment you open the secret door.
With the bar’s ‘secret’ location, the fun starts even before you’ve entered the place because the entryway itself is already a challenge to find. The doorway is located inside Sisig Society—an ironic, if not slightly dark-humored, coincidence. Push it and you will see the steps leading up to the speakeasy. After taking the short flight of stairs, it’s as if we left Pasig and were transported right into the 1920’s.
Three Little Pigs isn’t your typical speakeasy.
Dimly-lit with soothing music in the background, the space combines tasteful interiors and a laidback atmosphere perfectly. The walls are adorned with décor featuring pigs, portraying a sense of humor and adding an eccentric charm to the place.
With a full seating capacity of 25, an intimate gathering or a mid-sized party can very well be accommodated. Sofa and chair options are available but you can also get up close and personal with the bartender and find a spot by the bar.
The Classic Drinks
You can sit by the bar to see your drinks being prepared.
Going with the classy feel of the place, Three Little Pigs offers only the best of the best for the cocktails—ones that have earned their rights to be called classics. We were given fourteen drink options but an off-the-menu drink can also be ordered as long as all the ingredients are available at the bar. For this particular night out, we went with the Old Fashioned, the Gin Basil Smash, and the Clover Club.
Old Fashioned
The Old Fashioned has been a time-tested favorite drink.
From the name itself, the Old Fashioned (PhP285) has long been in the game of classic concoctions. Made out of bourbon, sugar, and Angostura Bitters, the Old Fashioned makes sure to bring in the alcohol punch from the very first sip. Ideal for seasoned drinkers who know how to handle their liquor, the drink is garnished with orange and lemon rinds to bring a hint of citrus freshness that complements the drink.
Gin Basil Smash
The Gin Basil Smash is best for light drinkers.
For something lighter than the first drink, Gin Basil Smash (PhP225) offers a fresher, crisper liquor experience. The drink leaves a sweeter aftertaste thanks to its ingredients: gin, sugar, lemon, and basil. Bonus points also have to be given for the fragrant basil scent that lightly envelops the drink.
Clover Club
The Clover Club’s fruity taste will definitely make you take another sip.
Another lightweight drink option is the Clover Club (PhP265), which is made out of gin, raspberry syrup, lemon, Dry Vermouth, and egg white. The shaken egg white is responsible for the Clover Club’s pleasant froth, which contributes an interesting mouthfeel to the drink. The drink itself is sweet and a little tart. The cute pig snout for the garnish also adds a touch of quirkiness.
The Familiar Food
Three Little Pigs’ food is a mix of casual and familiar.
Three Little Pig’s food menu is right out of a nostalgic dream every one of us has had at some point. Classic favorites like salsa nachos and kikiam (sausage-like street food) are available and go very well with the cocktails. We happily chose dynamites and chicken skin to pair with the drinks we ordered. And while it was unfortunate that the bestseller onion rings was out of stock during our visit, we’ll just have to get them the next time we drop by.
Dynamites
The dynamites are undoubtedly an explosion of flavors.
A staple street food that rivals the popularity of your fish ball and kwek kwek (egg covered in batter), dynamites (PhP210) are made out of chili peppers whose seeds are taken out, stuffed with ground meat and cheese, wrapped in lumpia (spring roll) wrapper, and deep fried. Three Little Pigs’ dynamites version was nothing short of explosive indeed. Crunchy, appetizingly spicy, with a mayo and ketchup sauce, the dynamites bring on the packed flavor that will leave you wanting second helpings.
Chicken skin
The chicken skin is surprisingly light making it seem not sinful.
Perhaps one of the best parts of the chicken itself, chicken skin (PhP190) is another popular street food and pulutan when drinking all over the country. But while chicken skin is usually drenched in oil, Three Little Pigs’ offering is surprisingly non-greasy, light, crispy, and not too salty. Delicious on its own but also perfect with the drinks, one crackling bite of chicken skin will be followed by another until the serving runs out.
After our visit to Three Little Pigs, it’s safe to say that we had quite the weeknight. Our stress was all but gone and we were more than satisfied with the experience we had. And with our heads slightly buzzing, our inhibitions significantly lowered, and stomachs satiated, we left the place knowing that we’ve discovered a Kapitolyo staple.
