Christmas is everyone’s favorite time of the year in just 24 hours. Merriment will take over everything else, and the world will be a bit kinder than it usually is, at least for now. But this season isn’t only for cheeriness and delicious Christmas Noche Buena. Whether you’ll spend the holidays here in the metro or out of town, delicious meals should be a requirement, not an option.
It’s a good thing there will be tasty feasts all over the city tonight, courtesy of restaurants open on Christmas Eve. The following places to eat on Christmas are in prominent hotels, so you know the food will be top-notch. Want to get an idea of where you can dine in tonight? 1. The Lobby
Location: The Peninsula Manila, corner of Ayala and Makati Avenues, Makati
Operating Hours:
Breakfast - 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
Lunch - 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Afternoon Tea - (Reservations highly recommended) 2:30 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Dinner - 6:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.
The hotel’s restaurant also offers Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day feasts.

First on our list of restaurants for the Christmas Noche Buena is one of Peninsula Manila’s most renowned restaurants since the hotel’s opening in 1976. The Lobby is a favorite of both local and foreign guests for its delectable food in a quaint setting and one of the restaurants open on Christmas Eve. The resto hosts a dinner buffet from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Your Christmas Noche Buena will come with food prepared by the hotel’s talented chefs and culinary experts.
Not only that, the hotel’s other restaurants, such as Old Manila, Spices, and Escolta, are also places to eat on Christmas and holiday feasts for the different meals of the day at different prices.
2. Café Eight
Location: Crimson Hotel Manila, 2609 Civic Drive, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
Operating Hours:
Breakfast - 6:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.
Dinner - 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. (Friday and Saturday)
The buffet will run from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM.

On our second spot on the list of restaurants for your Christmas Noche Buena is Café Eight. Offering cuisines from Southern Europe to the Middle Eastern regions prides itself on its delectable desserts and signature drinks. It is one of the restaurants open on Christmas Eve, a holiday feast set to satisfy all customers.
Some regular menu items include turkey, roast beef, white truffle cake, and Yorkshire pudding. The feast includes fun activities such as live entertainment and a Santa meet and greet. The dinner buffet starts at PhP1,200 per head.
3. 22 Prime
Location: Discovery Suites, 25 ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City
Operating Hours:
Tuesday to Sunday - 12:00 N.N to 2:00 P.M. (by reservation); 5:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. (available for walk-ins and by reservation)
The restaurant is located on the 22nd floor of the hotel.

The third spot on the list of restaurants for Christmas Noche Buena is Discovery Suites’ 22 Prime restaurant, a multi-awarded establishment well-known for its U.S. Prime Angus steaks. For its Christmas Carvery feast, crowd favorites such as the USDA Prime Rib Eye, Holiday Turkey, Honey Mustard Smoked Bone-in Ham, and sides and desserts will be available for the Christmas Noche Buena.
The buffet will run from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Payment during reservation is encouraged to guarantee your seats. Add this to your list of restaurants open on Christmas Eve. The buffet starts at PhP1,800 per head.
4. Café d’Asie
Location: The Bellevue Manila, North Bridgeway, Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
Operating Hours:
Breakfast - 6:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. (Daily)
Lunch - 11:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.
Dinner - 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. from Mondays to Sundays (Daily)
Café d’Asie also offers a Christmas Day buffet at the same price.

The Bellevue Manila’s Café d’Asie is in our fourth spot of restaurants for the Christmas Noche Buena, with a total seating capacity of 180 people. One of the places to eat on Christmas, it regularly offers an international cuisine buffet with an Italian pasta section, an Indian station, and even a Mongolian make-your-own-dish station.
As being listed as one of the restaurants open on Christmas Eve, its buffet for Christmas Noche Buena is expected to serve just as much variety. It will be available for both lunch and dinner. The buffet starts at PhP2,500 per head.
5. Midas Café and Yanagi
Location: Midas Hotel and Casino, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City 1300, Philippine
Operating Hours:
Midas Café - 6:00 A.M. to 10:30 P.M.
Yanagi - 11:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. ; 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.
Both restaurants will give you one free buffet deal if you book five buffet deals.

Midas Hotel and Casino’s Midas Café is on our fifth spot of restaurants for Christmas Noche Buena offers a wide selection of cuisines, from hearty Filipino dishes to famous Western cuisine. For its Christmas Eve Special Buffet Dinner, pasta, prime rib, Christmas log cake, and even live cooking stations are expected to be available.
Coincidentally, the establishment’s other popular restaurant, open on Christmas Eve, Yanagi, will also be offering the same deal at the same price at the same time. The buffet for Christmas Noche Buena for both restaurants will be from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The buffet starts at PhP2,088 per head.
6. The Fireplace
Location: New World Manila Bay Hotel, Pedro Gil Street, Malate, Manila
The meal price is already inclusive of service charges and government taxes.

Unlike the other restaurants open on Christmas Eve, The Fireplace will not offer a buffet feast but a delectable three-course meal made from only the finest ingredients. Their Christmas Noche Buena will include roast pumpkin soup for the appetizer, Angus beef tenderloin or duck-fat turkey breast for the entrée, and red velvet fondant for the dessert.
Meanwhile, the restaurant will offer a different three-course menu for the New Year set at the same price.
The most beautiful time of the year is set to be the most delicious time of the year thanks to these offerings of these restaurants open on Christmas Eve restaurant offerings. So this Christmas Eve, go forth, be merry, and have a meal of a lifetime.
