For the month of November, we visited four supermarkets in Metro Manila along or near EDSA to check the availability of basic commodities and their corresponding prices. These are the locations that Yoorekka has visited: Puregold Araneta, SM Megamall Supermarket, Landmark Supermarket Trinoma, and Hi-Top Supermarket. Below is a breakdown and price comparison of the goods in each location for November 2018.

Rice

For this month, we only included certain types of rice in order to have consistent results in terms of availability and price:

As per the table above, most of the grocery stores offer vegetables by the kilogram except for SM Megamall, which offers by the pack.
