Cebu Pacific cancels 90 domestic flights
At least 90 domestic flights will be cancelled by Cebu Pacific and its sister airline Cebgo from November 15 to 20 in line with the improvement of the NAIA’s navigational system. The flights that will be cancelled are from Manila to and from the following areas: Bacolod, Iloilo, Cebu, Naga, Zamboanga, Dumaguete, General Santos, Davao, Cotabato, Legazpi, Cagayan de Oro, Puerto Princesa, Tuguegarao, Tagbilaran, Butuan, Roxas, and Tacloban [2].
The flights from Zamboanga to and from Tawi-Tawi and Davao that are scheduled on November 19 are also suspended.
Three NAIA runways to be closed due to maintenance
From November 12 to 17 and November 20 to 22, three of NAIA’s runways would be closed due to maintenance. This closure will affect several international and domestic flights, including those by major airlines Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines. Passengers who have flights on these dates can check the announcements from their respective airlines. Travellers are given the option to rebook their flights if their travel dates are affected [3].
