Number coding expected to be lifted for All Saints’ Day
No official announcement has been made yet, but based on trends from past years, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is expected to lift the number coding in Metro Manila to let all motorists use their vehicles as they head to cemeteries. The scheme is usually lifted from October 31 to November 1 [1].
MRT and LRT operating hours unaffected by holidays
In other transportation¬-related news, the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) will have normal operations during the holiday. For safety, security will be tightened at the stations upon checking at the entrance [2].
MMDA ready with Oplan Undas 2018
The MMDA will also conduct Oplan Undas 2018, meaning that more than 2,000 traffic personnel will be deployed along traffic-prone areas from morning until evening to ensure that the traffic flow will remain smooth [3].
