Among the top things to buy when you shop is your OOTD for everyday wear or parties you’re going to attend. But before you head to your favorite international brands, take a moment to reconsider, as many Filipino fashion brands and local clothing brands are also worth your money. So whether it’s men’s or women’s clothing you’re looking for, you’ll find something in these top Filipino clothing brands as voted by our readers. Read on and see which one fits you!
The first Filipino fashion brand on our list is Kamiseta. The local clothing brand follows the mantra “It’s fun being a girl,” so you’ll find a collection brimming with casual yet chic clothing for fun and carefree Filipinas. Aside from going to their physical stores, you can also access their products online to make shopping easier.
But Kamiseta strives to be more than a Filipino clothing brand by offering more products and services to its loyal customers. In fact, it has opened Kamiseta Hotel in Baguio and Kamiseta Skin, a skin care center offering various facial and body treatments.
The fourth Filipino fashion brand on our list is Bayo. This Filipino clothing brand, known for its casual yet fashion-forward clothing, has been dressing Pinays since 1992. From being a small atelier in Makati, this Filipino clothing brand has expanded to over 100 retail stores and has worked with various brand ambassadors like Lea Salonga, KC Concepcion, and Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa.
Another thing that makes Bayo one of a kind is the local clothing brand’s passion not just for fashion but also for Filipino heritage. In 2017, the Bayo Foundation was created—a company branch that aims to provide scholarships to Filipino fashion students, hone their talents, and create opportunities for them.
Team Manila is the Filipino fashion brand that came in the third spot. Unbeknownst to many, Team Manila was actually a graphic design studio when it was founded in 2001. Fortunately, the founders decided to venture into fashion and so have given us a streetwear clothing line that is not only comfortable but this Filipino clothing brand also makes us proud as Filipinos.
This local clothing brand, Team Manila, became known for its aesthetics that gives homage to the Manila life and culture. In their designs, you’ll see well-known landmarks and icons like pedicabs, jeepneys, and the iconic Jose Rizal in aviator glasses.

The local clothing brand that secured the top two spots in our Filipino fashion brands list is Penshoppe. What was once a tiny shop in Cebu is now one of the biggest retail companies in the country. Penshoppe is known for its simple, casual clothing line featuring shirts, pants, dresses, and jackets.
The Filipino clothing brand has also become famous by getting international stars as its product ambassadors. If you’re a fan of Zayn Malik, Paris Jackson, and Nam Joo Hyuk, to name a few, you can now get their style for less, thanks to Penshoppe.
Bench is the Filipino fashion brand that conquered the top spot. The Filipino clothing brand company started way back in 1987 as a men’s t-shirt shop. Fast forward to 30 years, and it is now one of the biggest retail local clothing brand companies in the Philippines, selling not only t-shirts but also fragrances, underwear, and even cosmetics.
Bench also brought their brand into international waters last year when they joined New York Fashion Week, a prestigious fashion event in the United States. Today, Bench continues to be a leader in the industry by partnering with local and international stars and even venturing outside fashion through projects like Bench Café, which opens daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
