Food Parks in Metro Manila Worth Visiting with Your Barkada
Gather the gang and try these food parks from all over the metro!

Many food trends have made their way to the Philippines, and food parks are one of them. The first one opened in 2013 and back then, it offered a new dining experience where customers can enjoy various food selections and cuisines in one location [1].
However, despite the affordability and the fun themes and concepts that most food parks offer, some are slowly losing their luster and others have already closed down. This could be attributed to many reasons, some of which are similar food offerings and bad location [2].
Now many might think that the emergence of food parks is just a fad that’ll eventually go away, but this isn’t the case. There are still many worth going to, and here are a couple food parks in Metro Manila that are worth a visit from you and your friends!
1. StrEat: Maginhawa Food Park
Address: 91 Maginhawa St., UP Village Quezon City

StrEat: Maginhawa Food Park opened in 2015 and is considered one of the early players in the food park scene. StrEat proves that they are not just another trendy food park by providing well-curated concessionaires and offering them more things other than food.
At StrEat you can find Instagram-worthy food thanks to The Lost Bread’s over-the-top shakes and Epicure’s smoking cocktails, as well as gourmet finds like Schmidt’s Gourmet Hotdogs. Aside from great meals, you can also catch movies here or even work at the nearby co-working space, WIP PH.
2. The Yard Underground
Address: 207 Christian Route, Hill Crest Circle, Oranbo, Pasig City

Another oldie but goodie in the food park scene is The Yard Underground. Although its predecessor, The Yard, has already closed its doors, this one in Pasig is staying strong thanks to its loyal diners and its good mix of food offerings.
Here you can find seafood fares, one of which is the famous Super Giant Butterfly Squid of Above Sea Level, Persian grubs like Halal Kabab Express, and yummy desserts from Phat Boys PH. They are also adding more food parks in the metro and beyond to serve more diners.
3. Container Turf
Address: 238 and 240 BF Aguirre Avenue, Parañaque City
Come back and taste all 36 food stalls of Container Turf.

Container Turf just opened in 2017 but despite only being a year old, it made sure to offer unique food selections that are both pleasing to the palate and the eyes. Aside from over 30 food stalls to choose from, they also have high-speed Wi-Fi, board games, and a live band to entertain their diners.
Some of the items worth driving for at Container Turf include the authentic Singapore dishes from Burgis Street Laksa, the tasty Tex-Mex selections from El Chupacabra, and the filling meat options of Black Barrel Smokehouse Co.
4. Arkipelago Food Park
Address: Bagtikan St. San Antonio Village, Makati City

For those looking for a new hangout place in Makati, Arkipelago Food Park is one you’ll surely visit and come back to. Arkipelago prides itself in its carefully selected food concessionaires, so you’ll get a little bit of everything from all over the world. There’s Rossana's Little Europe Cafe for your Italian cravings, Kambingan Ni Apong for local and regional Filipino fares, and The Seafood Stall for the freshest seafood.
Another thing that makes Arkipelago one of a kind are the retail spaces located on their second floor. There’s The Black Sheep Project, a sneaker store, and a games store called Game Detective. Arkipelago also has a function room for your small events!
5. The Shipyard Malate
Address: 578 Gen. Malvar St., Malate Manila
The Shipyard is the perfect Friday night spot.

The wide array of food choices on food parks could be overwhelming, so The Shipyard Malate decided to go a different route. Compared to other food parks, The Shipyard only has four food stalls, but each one has a diverse menu to still give diners plenty to choose from.
One of these food stalls is Bernie’s Southern Fried Chicken. It offers classic comfort food plus other Filipino chows like sisig (pork hash) and a variety of grilled street food. Another one is East London Kebab and Burgers which offers Middle Eastern favorites and burgers. The Shipyard Malate also has ship containers repurposed as air-conditioned rooms so you don’t have to endure the heat while dining and drinking with your friends.
