2018 seems to be gliding by without anyone noticing and before you even realize it, the summer season is over. In a few months’ time, we’re back to cooler months, layered clothes, and a higher need for umbrellas.
But before we welcome the cold climate, here’s a list of some of the hottest sales in Metro Manila this May 2018, so you can go on an affordable shopping spree and make the most out of your summer vacation!
1. Mega Fashion Outlet Sale Year 8
Where: 5th Level, Building B, SM Megamall, EDSA cor. Julia Vargas Avenue, Mandaluyong City
When: May 31-June 3, 2018

From May 31 to June 3, the Mega Fashion Outlet Sale is once again offering great selections from The SM Store as well as many independent merchants and brands, with promos and discounts that go as high as 70%! Some of the items that can be found in the sale include fashion apparel, accessories, as well as clothing for kids. The sale starts once the mall opens, so you better head there early if you want score some great finds!
2. Uniqlo 6th Anniversary Sale
Where: All Uniqlo branches nationwide
When: Entire month of May
Customers can visit Uniqlo’s website and their social media pages for updates regarding the sale.

For the entire month of May, Uniqlo will offer to its loyal customers a wide variety of discounts in their LifeWear collection for men, women, and children. Select items will also be featured every week with limited-offer promotions. Another treat from their anniversary sale is the “Scan to Win” game, where customers can win shopping coupons when they download the Uniqlo app. Customers can also use the app to get the newest updates on on-sale items and collections so that they never miss out!
3. Metro Stores’ Summer Appliance Sale
Where: All Metro Store branches nationwide
When: April 27-May 27, 2018
There are a total of twelve Metro Store branches nationwide.

Beginning April 27 up until May 27, all Metro Store branches nationwide are offering as much as 50% off on brand new home appliances. Some appliances featured in the sale are the Devant 43-inch Smart TV, Camel 6.5-cubic feet Chiller, Hanabishi Air Cooler, Metro Living 18-inch Industrial Stand Fan, and a whole lot more. The products are also available to be purchased by installments through Aeon Credit Service and Home Credit.
4. Shop for Mom at The SM Store
Where: Participating The SM Store branches nationwide
When: May 1-31, 2018
More than 40 The SM Store branches nationwide are participating in the sale.

Mother’s Day may have ended but SM Malls continue to show their love for all moms for the entire month of May. From May 1 to the 31st, select styles and items from participating The SM Store branches nationwide are for sale for only 60% off their original price. Some items that you can expect to go on sale include favorites from big brands of clothes, accessories, and bags. You’re sure to find a perfect gift if you missed the chance to treat your mom!
5. Electrolux’s Kitchen Days Promo
Where: Select home appliance stores nationwide
When: April 1 to June 30, 2018
The free items can be redeemed after up to sixty days from the end of the promo period.

From now until June 30, Electrolux is offering a number of freebies and discounts when you purchase selected Electrolux kitchen appliances. You get a free microwave oven when you buy one of their select Nutrifresh refrigerator models. You can also get a free 60-cm Slimeline Hood with every purchase of a 60-cm Induction Cooking Range. A five-piece food keeper set is also free when you purchase one of their selected refrigerator models. You also get a 50% discount on their 60-cm Slimeline Hood when you buy one of their 60-cm Induction Hob.
