Living in a predominantly conservative country, we Filipinos often have a bad perception towards casinos. These establishments unfortunately garnered a bad reputation because of their allure for gambling, when in fact, age limits and policies are in place to help patrons moderate their playing tendencies.
But some casinos go beyond being mere gambling facilities; there are now establishments dubbed as “integrated resorts” where one can play, shop, and even stay for a night or two. Now, you don’t have to gamble to enjoy your visit at a casino. With all the new and exciting amenities, activities, and promotions offered, visiting a casino is now a fun experience worth trying.
We asked our readers to share their top casinos in the country, and the results are in! Read on and see which one you want to visit soon.
4. Resorts World Manila
Address: Newport Boulevard, Newport City, Pasay, Metro Manila
The fourth casino on the list is
Resorts World Manila. When the government opened the local gambling market to the world, Resorts World was the first international casino to set foot in the country. But it didn’t stop at just building a casino; now, Resorts World also boasts of being a world-class integrated resort that has four hotels, eight restaurants, three bars, cinemas, a mall, and its own theater.
Despite being the site of an unfortunate incident last June 2017 when a gunman set gambling tables on fire and fired gunshots, Resorts World Manila was quick to get back on its feet. Today, the casino continues to operate and thrive; in fact, it is slated to open Resorts World Bayshore, its second complex in the country, this year.
