Nowadays, this event is celebrated in many ways; it has even transformed into an occasion when kids get to enjoy fun events and activities such as the traditional egg hunting. This year, the festivities are more colorful than the last as several hotels around the metro will host their own events to end the long Holy Week weekend.

Makati Shangri-La will end the Holy Week celebration with the Easter Sunday Family Fair. One ticket is inclusive of three food stubs, one beverage stub, one loot bag to take home, access to the Easter egg hunt and many other thrilling games.

How to get to Makati Shangri-La: Ride the MRT and get off at Ayala station. Once you get down, walk towards SM Annex, which is interconnected with Greenbelt, Landmark, Glorietta, Shoemart, and Park Square. Makati Shangri-La can be seen along the way.

The characters will be present for a meet-and-greet session where kids can take pictures with their favorite characters. With City of Dream’s Ultimate Easter Eggstravaganza, kids can join Hiccup and the gang as they participate in the dragon egg hunt and dragon egg painting activity. Usually when we talk about Easter, the animal that first comes to our minds is the iconic rabbit. However, F1 Hotel’s Easter party puts a new twist on the occasion by not sticking to one animal and instead featuring an entire jungle full of cute animals. For extra fun, kids are recommended to come in their own adorable animal or Indiana Jones costumes! The event features a bubble show, magic show, face painting area, photo booth, egg decorating, and balloon twisting. The whole family won’t leave empty-handed or hungry as there will be loot bags and a buffet available for the event.

How to get to F1 Hotel: Take the north exit off the MRT-Ayala Station then head to the shuttle terminal or The Fort bus at the corner. There are shuttles that pass by St. Luke’s Medical Center, the hospital is only a few blocks from the hotel.

  • For security purposes, buy tickets from the venue or official partners only, not from third-party distributors.
  • If you’re unsure about the event’s details, ask the venue’s Facebook page. Most respond fast.
  • Some events give out discounted prices for early bird purchases.
  • Some events encourage kids to wear costumes to match the event’s theme. Others even have costume contests. Check with the hotel to verify.
  • At the event, observe the rules and regulation of the venue when it comes to prohibited items or the dress code.
  • Keep an eye on your children during the event. In case of neglect, kids might get lost or be in danger.
  • See the policy of the event on the age limits of attendees; some also allow free entrance for people of a certain age.
