5 Local Stores You Can Find in Metro Manila Malls for Christmas 2017
Budget shopping becomes so much easier if you just know where to look.

In this season of giving, you might prioritize giving out imported and expensive items made by big companies based outside the country. But why not give locally-made, proudly Pinoy products? You won’t only get to give something unique, but you’ll also get to help out our local entrepreneurs and artists.
Fortunately, the metro is filled with these hidden gems and some can even be conveniently found in malls.
1. TeamManila Lifestyle
Where: Rockwell Power Plant Mall, SM Mall of Asia, TriNoma, Alabang Town Center, Market! Market!, Glorietta, and SM North EDSA
TeamManila Lifestyle offers a variety of graphic shirts, tote bags, and lanyards.
Founded in 2001, TeamManila Lifestyle offers a variety of sweatshirts, tote bags, and lanyards with witty remarks on them, but they are most well-known for their graphic tees. They also do collaborations with local musicians and artists to support and promote their craft. Their graphic shirts range from PhP415 to Php595 while supplies last.
2. ECHOstore
Where: Serendra Piazza, The Podium, and Glorietta 4
ECHOstore makes sure their products are environment-friendly.
Offering all-natural and eco-friendly products, ECHOstore was founded in 2008 by three entrepreneurs who wanted to provide merchandise that are good for the environment. ECHOstore’s products include bath and shower items such as Aloe Vera Conditioner for PhP250 and bar soap for PhP95 as well as edible products like 70% Cacao Bean Chocolate with Roasted Cashew Nuts for PhP120 and Calamansi Marmalade for PhP175.
3. Renegade Folk
Renegade Folk’s Holiday 2017 Collection has gold, nude, and eggplant accents.
Handcrafted by local artisans of Marikina, Renegade Folk was launched in 2007 to provide comfortable footwear with a Filipino flair. They also offer new styles to choose from every month and collections that are updated every season. Their Holiday 2017 Collection includes sandals with gold, nude, and eggplant accents ranging from PhP1,780 to PhP2,980.
4. Apartment 8 Clothing
Where: Ayala Fairview Terraces, Alabang Town Center, Uptown Place Mall, Glorietta 2, and Greenhills Shopping Center
These pieces are included in Apartment 8 Clothing’s La Belle Collection.
Established in 2006, Apartment 8 is a favorite of local female celebrities to endorse. With its chic, modern look, it is also expanding not only at a nationwide level, but internationally as well, with branches opening in Singapore, Sydney, and Paris. Its latest collections include La Belle and Endless Love Affair, which feature dresses, tops, and skirts ranging from PhP1,480 to PhP3,780.
