Even with all the sales and events going on all around us, the true essence of the holidays is spending some well-earned quality time with our loved ones. But since we already deal with heavy traffic jams and difficult commutes on a daily basis, the thought of braving the highways to get to resorts and vacation spots doesn’t really sound enticing.
Luckily, the Metro is swarming with hotels which offer staycation deals and packages for us to choose from. Below are some of the hotels with the best staycation deals in Metro Manila this 2017, along with their rates.
1. The Peninsula Manila
Where: Corner of Makati Avenue and Ayala Avenue, Makati
Rates: Rates start at PhP12,400 per night in a Deluxe Room valid from November 15, 2017 to January 10, 2018.
The Peninsula Manila is conveniently located near Ayala Shopping Centre and Greenbelt Mall.
Known as the “Jewel in the Capital’s Crown,” The Peninsula Manila has been operating for four decades now. For the holiday season, it is offering the Pen Days of Christmas package which has a 20% discount at any of the hotel’s restaurants; a buffet breakfast for two adults and two children under twelve in Escolta, one of their luxury buffet restaurants; a complimentary Peninsula Santa hamper; a special Christmas-themed welcome amenity; a special Christmas gift to be given either on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day; and complimentary use of The Peninsula Manila Fitness Center and Spa facilities and the swimming pool.
2. Fairmont Makati
Where: 1 Makati Avenue, Makati
Rates: Rates start at PhP5,700 per night valid for stays that fall on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and on local holidays.
Fairmont Makati’s Weekend and Holiday Escape package is available all year round.
Built in 2012, Fairmont Makati is one of the many luxurious destinations in the chain of Fairmont Hotels and Resorts that are available all around the world. Its Weekend and Holiday Escape package is available throughout all the Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and local holidays of the year. The package includes a 40% discount on the hotel’s day rate, 20% off for food and beverages except for in-room orders and minibar purchases, complimentary high speed wireless internet, complimentary local calls, and a late check-out of 3:00 PM.
3. Bayview Park Hotel Manila
Where: 1118 Roxas Boulevard, corner United Nations Avenue, Ermita, Manila
Rates: Rates start at PhP5,300 per night valid on December 24 and December 31, 2017.
Bayview Park Hotel Manila is offering Christmas and New Year’s Eve packages.
Already operating for 75 years, Bayview Park Hotel Manila is situated opposite the landmark U.S. Embassy building. Its Christmas and New Year’s Eve package includes a buffet breakfast and dinner for two, a free Christmas souvenir, a 15% discount for dine-in transactions at the Bayview Coffee Shop, a coffee and tea making facility, the use of all facilities, the use of the safety deposit box, and the use of the Children’s Activity Center.
4. Marriott Hotel Manila
Where: 2 Resorts Drive, Pasay City
Rates: Rates are from PhP12,888 to PhP13,888 valid until December 30, 2017.
Marriot Hotel Manila is located near Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Conveniently located near Ninoy Aquino International Airport and Manila Ocean Park, Marriot Hotel Manila is found within Resorts World Manila. Inclusive in its Holiday Room package are premium room accommodation at the West Wing, PhP3,000 food and beverage credits per night of stay that could be used in any food and beverage outlet of the hotel, PhP1,500 Christmas Train credits per night of stay, and a special nightly holiday turndown amenity.
5. Hotel H20
Where: Manila Ocean Park Complex, Behind Quirino Grandstand, Luneta, Manila
Rates: Rates are between PhP 8,500 to PhP 17,500 valid from September 1 2017 to February 28, 2018.
A portion of the proceeds from the Sharecation package will be given to the Educational Research and Development Assistance Foundation.
Hotel H20’s Sharecation package won’t only benefit you and your family; you’ll also get to give back since a portion of the proceeds of the package will go to the Educational Research and Development Assistance Foundation. There are seven rooms to choose from (Parkview, Aqua Room, Bayview, Bay Deluxe, Aqua Jellies/Supreme, Premiere Classic, and Executive Suite) at varying rates but all rooms include a breakfast buffet at the Makan Makan Asian Food Village, Sea Breeze Express tickets at the Manila Ocean Park, a hotbed treatment at the Zenyu Eco Spa, and special event passes.
6. Century Park Hotel Manila
Where: 599 P. Ocampo Street, Malate, Manila
Rates: Rates start at PhP3,999 valid from October to December 2017.
Century Park Hotel Manila is located at the heart of the county’s capital city.
Aside from its luxurious rooms, Century Park Hotel Manila also offers six function rooms and a business center for corporate events. For its The Great Holideals Package, the hotel offers a room good for two adults and two kids (aged 12 years old and below), a buffet breakfast for two, free late check-out, a 20% food and beverage discount at Café in the Park or Century Tsukiji, a 20% discount on a massage, free parking, free Wi-Fi access, use of pool and fitness gym, and welcome drinks.
7. Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila
Where: 2609 Civic Drive, Alabang, Muntinlupa
Rates: Rates start at PhP10,310 valid from November 15, 2017 to January 5, 2018.
Part of the room sales of Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila’s 3 Days/2 Nights Holiday Staycation Package will go to the Kids of Social Service Department of Muntinlupa.
Filipino artworks spread across the gallery and views over Alabang are some of the visual treats that can be seen at Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila. Part of the room sales of their 3 Days/2 Nights Holiday Staycation Package will also be given to the Kids of Social Service Department of Muntinlupa. Included in the package are a two-night stay at the Deluxe Room, a two-day buffet breakfast for two, a surprise treat from Santa, Christmas-themed room setup, shopping credits for kids at Santa’s Café, and a late check-out at 4:00 PM.
