As All Saints’ Day nears, flowers are in demand again. Below is the price list for some of the more popular flowers available at the stalls in Dangwa flower market*.
• Carnations cost PhP170 per dozen and come in multiple colors such as white, red, purple, and pink.
• Filipino orchids are at PhP450 to PhP700 per bunch.
• A dozen roses cost PhP170.
• Mums can be purchased at PhP150 to PhP170 per bunch. Button mums can go as low as PhP100 for small bunches. There are also three-for-PhP100 promos at some stalls.
• Sunlight mums cost about PhP180 for natural yellow ones, while colored ones cost PhP280.
• A bunch of snapdragons, also known as dragon flowers, costs about PhP100.
• Gerbera daisies sell for PhP170 per 10 pieces with colors such as orange, yellow, purple, and red.
• Wreath prices vary depending on the design. It starts from PhP80 to PhP180 upwards.
• Statice is PhP100 per bundle.
• Assorted foliage starts at PhP8.00 up to PhP90 per bundle. Customers have the option to choose tea leaves, fern, rosal, white corn, Formosa, fishtail, anahaw (palm leaves), papua, and fortune.
Flower arrangements are also available. The prices for these depend on the flowers used. It can start at PhP300 if with carnations, PhP400 with gerberas, and PhP600 with stargazer lilies.
