The Korean fever is indeed taking Manila by storm.
Numerous Korean pop (K-pop) artists have dropped by the Philippines earlier this year; to name a few, we have Gdragon, Taeyang, Park Shin Hye, to Nam Joo Hyuk—and to fans’ delight, joining the list is Seventeen. The group is returning to Manila for the last leg of their “Diamond Edge” World Tour. Some of their popular songs include “Don’t Wanna Cry,” “VERY NICE,” and “BOOMBOOM.”

Slayer’s songs are regarded as controversial and are even banned in several countries.
For the first time in history, award-winning thrash metal icon Slayer will have its first-ever concert in the Philippines. Slayer is considered to be one of the “big four” of thrash metal bands along with Megadeth, Metallica, and Anthrax. Local rockers and head-bangers are in for a treat as the band will perform some of their famous hits such as “Raining Blood,” “Season in the Abyss,” and “Angel of Death.”

David Archuleta was only 16 years old when he joined American Idol 7, and he won first runner up.
After five long years away from the Philippines, American Idol alumnus David Archuleta will return for a special one-night concert on October 20. Glaiza De Castro not only has a pretty face but also a pretty voice.
Glaiza De Castro is more than just a celebrity for her fans. To them, the GMA star is also a singer who can belt out quite impressive tunes. Through the years, Glaiza has been building a solid discography, and now she has a new album, “Magandang Simulain”* (Beautiful Beginning), which she will launch at her concert, “Kun[g]diman.” Gloc-9 and Mike Hanopol will be making guest performances at the concert.
