It is possible to watch European films without booking a single flight to any European country. Instead, one can go to Shangri-La’s Cineplex to enjoy socially-relevant and insightful European films for free at the Cine Europa Film Festival, one of the longest and largest film festivals in the country. It runs from September 17 to 26
The delegation of the European Union (EU) to the Philippines, along with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), will bring 24 contemporary and classic movies from 16 EU countries. Some of these countries are Austria, Germany, Italy, Hungary, France, Denmark, Spain, United Kingdom, Sweden, Czech Republic, and Norway.
The film festival will continue beyond the Cineplex and travel to eight other cities and municipalities such as Baguio, Cebu, Iloilo, Tacloban, and Puerto Princesa.
