Trade Fairs
11th Manila Foods and Beverages Expo
When: June 14 to 18, 2017, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Manila Foods and Beverages Expo (MAFBEX) is an annual event for all food lovers who want to showcase their products, or discover new flavors. An estimated 50, 000 local and foreign guests are expected to attend. The event will house five hundred booths and 300 companies. There will be cooking demonstrations by world-renowned chefs, as well as interschool and professional cooking competitions to spice up the event. Entrance to the expo is free.
Philippine Wedding Summit 2017
When: June 14 to 18, 2017, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Just in time for wedding season, the Philippine Wedding Summit is here once again to showcase the brightest wedding suppliers in the country. Now in its 12th year, event organizers and soon-to-be-newlyweds can discover elegant ideas from 300 exhibitors for their upcoming wedding. Raffle draws, specials treats, and freebies will make the event a more exciting weekend activity for attending guests.
The Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles
When: June 30 to July 2, 2017
Where: SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City

The Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention (TOYCON) is one of the most highly anticipated events in the country. It is considered as one of the biggest pop culture events today. It is a nation-wide gathering of collectors, cosplay enthusiasts, musicians, artists, and gamers who are bonded by a common passion. Entrance fee is at PhP500.

ABOT-TANAW: Tracing Local Horizons
When: May 8 to June 23, 2017
Where: White Cube Gallery, Metropolitan Museum of Manila
Witness the wonders of nature at Abot-Tanaw Tracing Local Horizons exhibition.
To celebrate National Heritage Month, the Metropolitan Museum of Manila presents an exhibit entitled ABOT-TANAW: Tracing Local Horizons. Visitors can take a glimpse of the exquisite beauty of nature seen through the lens of hobbyist photographers. Exhibited images are taken from various popular locations within the archipelago that unveils the connection between the sky and the earth. From sunset, twilight and dusk, photographers’ interpretation of abot-tanaw delves deeper to express hope and anticipation for the future.
REVOLUTIONARY: Julio Nakpil at 150 | Nick Joaquin at 100
When: May 19 to July 23, 2017
Where: Ayala Museum, Makati City

In celebration of Julio Nakpil’s 150th birthday and Nick Joaquin’s 100th, Filipinas Heritage Library, Ayala Museum, Bahay Nakpil-Bautista, and the Nick Joaquin Estate present REVOLUTIONARY: Julio Nakpil at 150 | Nick Joaquin at 100. The event is a series of multi-sensory activities celebrating the birth of musician Julio Nakpil and National Artist for Literature Nick Joaquin. Entrance to the exhibition is free.
