Valentine’s Day, one of the most anticipated events of the year, lies on a weekday. Couples and families alike going out on Valentine’s Day are advised to expect heavy traffic in major roads of Metro Manila. Some restaurants and hotels offer Valentine’s promos which are up for grabs.

Dangwa might be jam-packed
Dangwa is your go-to place for fresh and affordable flower bouquets.
Every Valentine season, most men head to Dangwa Flower shops known as the bagsakan (place where goods are delivered) of fresh flowers in Manila. Those who are looking for cheap bouquets and flower arrangements are advised to purchase ahead of time because prices might go steep due to high demands. There are also merchants that offer express flower delivery. Some of them can already be found online.

Metro Manila traffic is expected to get heavy on special events like Valentine’s Day. Those who want to avoid the busy streets can go on a date near their place instead. Moreover, those who can’t spend the Valentine’s Day with their partner, family, and friends on February 14 can schedule a post-Valentine celebration on the weekend instead.

They offer catering for different kind of events and delivery for those who want to avoid heavy traffic on Valentine’s Day.

Most hotels in Metro Manila still have available rooms for booking. Meanwhile, Manila Hotel is already fully booked on February 15 to 18. Those who are interested to watch the Pyromusical Competition can choose to stay in hotels near the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

The show starts at 8:00 PM.
