Summer is over, but that does not mean that there is a dearth of interesting attractions to check out. From movies and concerts to weekend barbeque events, we’ve lined up some activities to make sure that you get the most out of your weekend.
Movie
Out of the Shadows is the second movie in the Ninja Turtles franchise.
A 1980s comic book will be given a 2016 spin in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, showing June 1. In this sequel to the 2014 film, the Ninja Turtles must stop a mutant invasion that could end the world.
Concert
Christian band Citipointe Live will hold the Worship Night with Citipointe Live concert this June 3, 8:00 PM at the CCF Center Tiendesitas Main Auditorium.
The band is an assembly of worshippers from the Citipointe Church based in Australia. Band members Aaron and Becky Lucas and Joey Ramsay will headline the June 3 concert. Previously, the group staged concerts in the Philippines in 2011 and 2012.

Clubs
For urban weekend warriors who don’t have time to go to the beach, lounging at the pool is the next best option. They can do just that at The Palace Pool Club, the country’s first day club and pool club.
The Pool Club has regular events in their roster including Isle of Dreams every Friday and Super Paradise every Saturday. During these events, they play Top 40 hits and hip-hop and R&B songs.On Saturdays and Sundays, they have a weekend barbeque by the pool from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Guests can also enjoy their favorite drinks at half the price during happy hour, which runs from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM from Fridays to Sundays. Those into electronic dance music (EDM) might want check out Club Haze at The Fort Strip in Taguig. For the complete sound trip experience, Haze has nightly themed events: Up To No Good Saturdays where they play hip-hop songs, Billboard Fridays where they play today’s top hits and Sundaze, their chill-out Sunday party where there is no dress code nor door charge. The club also have visual shows aside from regularly hosting international DJs.
Casino Events
Feeling lucky this weekend? You might want to take a chance at playing casino games in the city.

Resorts World Manila will hold the PhP21 Million Guaranteed Slots Tournament Series, with the last day of the event slated for June 3, 4:00 PM. Resorts World members who meet the required points can join the series. Slots are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

City of Dreams Manila, Dream Rewards or Signature Club members get a chance to win a luxury car in the Lucky Maserati Giveaway promotion.
