With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, couples are starting to look for places to spend an evening of romance. The culinary paradise of Cebu already offers numerous options for couples, but there is still space in the city for a new restaurant or two.
Check out the following restaurants where you can spend a romantic evening with your special someone.
1. Top of Cebu
Operating Hours: 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Monday to Sunday
Price Range: PhP190 to PhP590
Couples can enjoy a view of the city while dining at Top of Cebu
Couples can have a fairy-tale dinner date accentuated by a panoramic view of the city at Top of Cebu. Located in Busay Top Hill, right beside Tops Lookout, the restaurant offers a good mix of Filipino and international dishes. Top of Cebu is a great place for couples seeking romantic dining options for Valentine’s Day.
2. Providore
Operating Hours: 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Sunday
Price Range: PhP150 to PhP550
Couples can enjoy a romantic dinner within the convenience of a mall at Providore.
Providore is a newly opened lobby restaurant at Summit Galleria Hotel. Its chic yet casual interior is a departure from the usual elegant designs of many hotel restaurants in Cebu. Providore serves Filipino and international dishes. The restaurant also has a rack filled with local artisanal food items that guests may want to take home with them. Providore also offers buffet breakfast for both walk-in and hotel guests.
3. Fabio’s
Operating Hours: 12NN to 8:00 PM
Price Range: PhP95 to PhP295
Couples can enjoy an early dinner at Fabio’s while waiting for the city to light up at night.
Fabio’s is a quaint little hole-in-the-wall restaurant located in Busay, Cebu City. The scenic view at the place makes it ideal for romantic dinners on Valentine’s Day. The restaurant offers French and Italian- inspired dishes. Their main offering is their stone-baked pizza, which features a handmade crust. The restaurant also offers a number of pasta and rice dishes.
4. The Meat House
Operating Hours: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Sunday
Price Range: PhP80 to PhP1,350

Couples who love meat have something to look forward to at The Meat House. Situated close to a residential area, it gives couples the romantic ambiance they look for during Valentine’s Day. The simple interior decoration of The Meat House belies the fact that they offer high-quality US beef. The name of the restaurant simply shows that the place offers meat served in different ways.
5. Pasta Bella
Operating Hours: 12:00 NN to 9:00 PM Monday, Thursday to Saturday
Price Range: PhP135 to PhP365
Pasta Bella offers a rooftop dining experience.
For couples craving Italian food on Valentine’s Day, Pasta Bella is the place to be. Located in the Mabolo area, this hole-in-the-wall place is one of many roof-deck restaurants in Cebu City. While they specialize in food delivery, Pasta Bella can accommodate walk-in guests in their quaint dining area on the 5th floor of the Kima Glass building. Couples can have their fill of pizza, pasta, and salads while enjoying the city lights at night.
As of January 2021, Pasta Bella has not yet announced that it has resumed operations. Please contact the branch before visiting.
6. Soho Park
Operating Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:00 AM, Monday to Sunday
Price Range: PhP50 to PhP1,250
Soho Park is a good place for couples to dine in the middle of the city.
Cebu I.T. Park is home to a charming restaurant where star-crossed lovers can meet for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. Situated at the ground floor of Asia Premier Residences, the place features a minimalistic modern design that enhances its cozy ambiance. Soho Park offers a wide variety of dishes, including sandwiches, salads, rice toppings, and steaks. Couples can also cap the romantic evening with a bottle of their favorite wine or a hot cup of coffee.
