You Can Now Pay Boracay Environmental and Terminal Fees Online Starting April 1

You can now pay Boracay fees online to avoid long lines when entering the island.

If you plan to visit this resort island by April 1, 2024, look for new implementing guidelines as the local government of Malay embarks on digitization processes for Boracay fee payment options for seamless travel to the island.

The Malay local government unit recently announced that by April 1, Boracay environment and terminal fees can now be paid online through the e-Boracay web app, https://guest.eboracay.net.

The Boracay environmental fees are PhP300 for foreign tourists and PhP150 for non-Aklanon visitors, while the Boracay terminal fee is PhP150 for foreign and local tourists. Please note that a service fee of PhP30 is charged when you pay these Boracay fees through the new e-Boracay web app.

Returning Aklanons or balikbayans, Aklanons, their children, and grandchildren who are 12 years old and below are exempt from the environmental fees. Balikbayans are encouraged to get a barangay certificate from their villages to prove they are Aklanons. Residents or those with a business address in Aklan must present a government identification card to avail of the exemptions.

For this digitalization project, the local government of Malay has partnered with Surepay Technologies, Incorporated, a payment solution provider licensed and regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

By making Boracay fee payments through this new e-Boracay web app, tourists can conveniently avoid standing in long physical lines at the popular transportation hubs of Cagban, Caticlan Jetty Port, and the Passenger Terminal in Malay ports. This saves their time and provides a hassle-free experience for Boracay.
