Island hopping, windsurfing, and other excursions are the most often-evoked activities when visiting Boracay Island. But these beach activities aren’t the only things you should be ticking off during your vacation. There’s a treat that you probably haven’t heard about, and it’s one of the best deals on the island.
Coco Mama is a popular dessert joint in Boracay because of its coconut ice cream. Not only that, they serve healthier options with vegan and non-dairy ingredients. Do you want a scoop? Then scroll down and find out about their flavors and where to find them!
Though summer may be over, this treat sold in a coconut husk is the healthiest and creamiest you could ever get your hands on. The frozen treat comes with coconut strips, mango cubes,
pinipig, and sticky rice. It’s also a guilt-free treat for those who follow a strict diet! Their
ice cream dessert is made from vegan-friendly, dairy-free, and lactose-free milk.
In addition to their popular coconut flavor, you can also try their coco pandan flavor or mix (coconut and pandan). For the options, they have a single scoop (price starts at PhP120) and double scoops (price starts at PhP220).
Their location is close to D’Mall restaurants so that you can head there for your last course after a meal. And with the way they serve ice cream, you can take it with you near the shore, where you can sit and enjoy your locally-made frozen treat. What’s more? Their ice cream is available in tubs so that you can recreate their famous coconut ice cream at home! The store accepts delivery orders for their tubs in selected areas of Metro Manila: Makati, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Muntinlupa, Paranaque, and Las Pinas.
August 2021 Update: Due to the recent lockdown restrictions in NCR, delivery in Metro Manila has been temporarily suspended. Follow them on Facebook to be the first to know when they resume accepting delivery orders.
