The local government, BIATF, and every Department of Tourism-accredited hotel and beach resort comply with the Department of Health’s standard health protocols. As such, they are implementing the following rules for tourists, employees, and locals:
• Tourists must wear a mask outside of their resort or hotel room except when swimming, eating, or engaging in strenuous activities.
• Electric trikes are the only allowed public ground transport vehicle on the island. Drivers and passengers must follow the maximum seating capacity of 50 percent or four people.
• Swimming on the beach is allowed, but tourists must have their temperature checked at one of the designated beach stations. Swimming is allowed only from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Tourists are not allowed to leave their hotel from 1:00 AM to 4:00 AM.
