Despite the many changes following its rehabilitation, Boracay continues to keep its chill vibe. Authorities, however, maintained that smoking and drinking in public places are not allowed [6]. The anti-littering ordinance is also strictly implemented. To ensure a tight watch, security forces and the tourism enforcement team of the local government are doing rounds along White Beach randomly. The local government has also placed signage in various locations to remind tourists of the local ordinances. The task force also ensures that the island’s carrying capacity is maintained. According to the tourism office, an average of 5,000 visitors has visited the island daily since its reopening.
With fair weather and some exciting news, you can look forward to a really great week on your next visit. To find out more about Boracay, visit
