The Holy Week is the busiest time of the year in Boracay. It is considered as the super peak season when more tourists come and visit. The influx of tourist arrivals too is the reason why prices of accommodations and services spike up to 30%. After a series of cleanup activities along White Beach and Puka Beach, more spacious beaches will await locals and visitors this week. Apart from that, here’s what you can expect in Boracay this week.
Humid weather

It is expected to be humid with a maximum temperature of 30 °C and minimum of 27 °C this week. While it will be mostly sunny and warm throughout the week, morning showers can also be expected. It will also get a little cloudy starting on Friday. Whether it will be sunny or with some light rain, bringing an umbrella is advisable.

The week-long holidays allow more time for people to enjoy their vacation. Since Boracay is a favorite beach destination for locals and tourists, more people coming to the island also means crowded beachfronts.
With the influx of visitors, tightened security in ports and other entry points can be expected during the week. More police and security officers are also deployed in different areas of the island for the Lenten season.
Meat-free options and exciting activities
Going meatless for Lent
Consumption of seafood is expected to rise this Holy Week.
Catholics abstaining from meat during the Holy Week can check different vegan and vegetarian restaurants in the island. You can also buy seafood and fresh produce from the wet market and have them cooked in eateries offering paluto (cooking services).
Ziplining at Mt. Luho
You can conquer your fear of heights by ziplining.

The week-long holiday means more days for tourists to experience activities on the island. Aside from water activities, another attraction tourists can try is ziplining at Mt. Luho, the highest point in Boracay. The zipline course is about 620 meters long and 100 meters above sea level. The activity can be done alone or with a partner. You just have to climb up a flight of stairs to reach the starting point of the zipline. On your way back, you also get to ride an open-air cable car.
Holy Week mall hours
Shoppers flock to CityMall Boracay.

While most of its other branches in the country are closed on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, CityMall Boracay will remain open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The mall has grocery stores, food court, boutiques, souvenir shops, cinemas, as well as restaurants within the building.
Noise and party ban
Partying on Good Friday is banned in Boracay.

Tourists can attend the Lenten mass at the Holy Rosary Church at Barangay Balabag, where a special mass at 1:00 PM on Good Friday is scheduled. Locals and tourists should take note that making loud noises and hosting parties are banned from 6:00 PM of Good Friday until 6:00 PM of Black Saturday. Because of this, tourists can drink only inside their hotels.
