The project, which is expected to be completed by 2020, has a total allocation of PhP1.6 million. The improvement of the drainage system is eyed to solve the flooding problem in the island. The second phase consists of the construction of a pipeline which will divert treated drainage water to a wetland in Sitio Lugutan instead of Bulabog Beach.
