The Godofredo P. Ramos Airport (also known as Caticlan Airport or Boracay Airport) has recently completed work on its 1,800-meter runway extension. This makes the airport capable of accommodating bigger aircrafts such as Airbus 320s. Further extensions up to 2,100 meters are planned for the long term. Other improvements that tourists can expect are extended operating hours allowing for night-time landing, plus a new passenger terminal with bigger capacity in 2017.
