Art Sale and Fundraising Event

Hubon Madiaas & Friends’ “Tungod sa Gugma, Tungod sa Katahum” (Because of Love, Because of Beauty) art sale and fundraising event is ongoing and will run until May 18 at Casa Real Art Gallery, Old Capitol, Kilometer 0, Iloilo. Artworks depicting local color by great artists from the Panay region will be on sale.
The said event is for the Visayan Islands Visual Artists Exhibition Conference (VIVA ExCon) happening later this year.

Water activities like skim board clinic and skim board competition will happen in Villa Varona, Iloilo on May 7 to 8 during the Flatsand 2016 by MADSkimboards.
Nearby Fiestas
On May 3 to 4, Brgy. Ubian in Janiuay, Iloilo will hold its annual fiesta and on May 5, Dumangas will hold its Municipal Founday Day.
Pototan, meanwhile, will celebrate Feast of San Jose on May 8. On the same day, San Miguel will celebrate the Feast of San Miguel de Archangel.

Roberto’s Siopao

Roberto’s is a household name in Iloilo and is known for its siopao, a hot steamed bun with filling. Among its choices of siopao includes regular pork siopao (starts at PhP35), adobo siopao (PhP45), and queen siopao which has adobo and bacon inside (PhP70).
Roberto’s is located at 61 JM Basa Street, Iloilo.
ELECTION INFORMATION
May 7 marks the last day of campaign period for local and national elections. Liquor ban, on the other hand, will be observed starting May 8.
