The Boracay leg of the 2015 Latin Dance Festival will be held at the Paradise Garden Resort and Convention Center in Station 3, White Beach, from November 19 to 22. Dance workshops, parties, and shows will be held during the event.

Meanwhile, local and international volleyball players will compete in the 4th season of the Boracay Beach Volleyball Tournament on November 20 to 22 at Fairways and Bluewater. The event is organized by the Philippine Hotel Reservations Service (PHRS).

Star Lounge at The District Boracay in Station 2, White Beach, now offers BBQ Weekends every Friday and Saturday nights. They offer a selection of meat barbecues, seafood, and meat skewers. They also offer 40% off on all cocktails and local beers daily.

It is Amihan season again in Boracay and it marks the start of the kite season in Bulabog Beach, located on the opposite side of the White Beach. Anytime soon, surrounding areas will be teeming with kiteboarding and windsurfing centers that offer lessons for beginners. The same shops offer equipment rentals for first-time adventurers and storage facilities for those who have private gears. They also have a chilling zone where kiteboarders can order a drink or food and use free WIFI.

Boracay Toilet Bar and Restaurant located along the main road in Station 1, near Balabag Plaza, is gaining popularity for its toilet theme. The restaurant offers traditional Filipino food served on dishes shaped like toilet bowls and urinals. Patrons sit on toilet bowls while having their meals on bath tubs disguising as tables with glass panels atop. A huge toilet bowl is an additional attraction in the place, where diners could have a souvenir photo taken.

November is peak season in Boracay so hotel and resort rates are usually higher, although still lower compared to prices during its super peak season starting in December.

Nevertheless, special promos are still offered by some hotels. For one, Sea Wind Boracay in Station 1 offers 40% discount as part of their “Paradise for Less” promo for stay dates until November 30, 2015.

Minimum temperature this week is 22°C while maximum temperature is 30°C. A couple of showers are expected throughout the week. It will be partly sunny from November 18 to 21. Some showers are expected from November 22 to 24, especially in the morning.
