Do you often experience traffic congestion in
Baguio City, slowing you down to fully enjoy the city’s attractions? It may seem inconvenient for most people, but there is an initiative that could potentially address this issue: the introduction of a cable car system in Baguio City.
The Bases Conversion and Development Authority has recently entered into a memorandum of understanding with Zip Infrastructure Co. Ltd., a Japan-based company. The agreement entails preparing a comprehensive feasibility study to assess the suitability of Zippar, a self-driven cable car system developed by Zip Infrastructure Co. Ltd., for potential implementation in Camp John Hay, Baguio City.
As Baguio City becomes increasingly congested, the government actively seeks solutions to mitigate the escalating traffic problems in the City of Pines. This particular initiative holds promise in addressing this pressing issue. Moreover, the cable car system also aims to enhance urban mobility by providing a sustainable and environmentally friendly mode of transportation.
What are your thoughts on the proposed cable car system in Baguio City? We would love to hear your opinion!
