Baguio City, the country’s summer capital, is known for its cool climate and various natural attractions, such as Burnham Park, Botanical Garden, La Trinidad’s Strawberry Farm, and many more. This year, another destination is set to attract tourists and residents as the first and only 5-star mountain resort in the country, Baguio Country Club, opens its Flora and Fauna Park.
Baguio Country Club’s Flora and Fauna Park boasts a 5,448.59-square-meter portion of the exclusive club that aims to reconnect Baguio tourists and residents to nature while gaining appreciation for environmental preservation and protection efforts.
This new
tourist attraction in Baguio enriches the natural attractions in the country’s summer capital for people seeking a break from the metro’s busy life. BCC’s Flora and Fauna Park homes wild and endemic animals such as the Lohmann brown layer chicken, Brahminy kite eagle, and their iconic deers named Luna, Maggie, and Rudolf. Additionally, the park has an array of flowers, orchids, and even a strawberry farm for those interested in strawberry picking, making it a delightful natural attraction for everyone.
Occupying over five hectares of the Baguio Country Club, the Flora and Fauna Park has nine accessible stops at the moment, guided by the park’s staff: the Fowl Play, Pigeon Loft, Rabbit Farm, Dear Heart, Apiary, Greenhouse, Aviary, Eagle’s Nest, and Green Zone. At the same time, the aquarium and reptoria are still under construction.
Baguio Country Club’s Flora and Fauna Park is at Baguio Country Club Road, Baguio City. The entrance fee is PhP150 for adults and PhP75 for children aged four to 11. Meanwhile, non-members are required to have an endorsement from a BCC member.
Whether you're a resident seeking a moment of tranquility or a tourist eager to explore the beauty of Baguio, this new tourist attraction in Baguio is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the wonders of nature.
