Bacolod-Iloilo fast craft resume operations
After more than two months, Bacolod-Iloilo fast craft vessels resumed trips once again with smooth operations and cooperative passengers. The guidelines set at the Bacolod Real Estate Development Corp (Bredco) Port were observed properly by authorities and passengers. Temperature checks, presentation of health cards and identification cards, 50 percent vessel seating capacity, and disinfection of passenger accommodation areas are the stringent measures applied at the port.
For arriving passengers, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel retrieve their health cards before they leave the vessel. Bacolod residents only need to present their health cards, while Negros Occidental residents must undergo a real time-polymerase reaction test at the terminal’s swab booth [4].
