Canada recorded less than 1,000 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 for the first time since March 2020. A combined 937 new tests from six provinces came back positive, resulting in a total of 86,636 cases as of May 26, 2020. Meanwhile, the country’s death toll stands at 6,639. Most of the positive cases came from Quebec and Ontario, which have 614 and 287 new cases, respectively [6].
