There are only two months before the year ends, but there is no end to events and fairs that make your year unforgettable. Brace yourself because eye-opening events in Bacolod this November 2019 are coming your way!
Want to know what to expect? On the list are a seminar on how to design business strategies for beginners, a themed Super6 event at Casino Filipino L’Fisher, performances of Wishcovery contenders at Tippy’s Bistro, a tattoo competition featuring amateur tattoo artists, a seminar for developers, the app launch of Gears Unlimited’s DJ app, and, lastly, a fun-filled baby fair for mommies and daddies! These events in Bacolod this November 2019 definitely offer something new for virtually everyone, so keep reading for the details.
1. Designing Business Strategy for Startups
Where: G/F Vision Square Building, Corner 21st St. and San Agustin St., Bacolod City

Are you starting a business in Bacolod? Then you might be interested in this event. Designing Business Strategy for Startups is a free seminar conducted by WorkWith Coworking Space Bacolod that aims to help starters put up a successful strategy for their business. Through this seminar, you will learn about effective ways of strategizing and making deliberate decisions about markets, products, and services.

How to get there: From Bacolod Public Market, board a Northbound Terminal PUV and get off in front of Riverside Medical Center. Cross the street going to Bob’s Restaurant and proceed to the left side of the building. You will see the Vision Square building then head to the main entrance. You will find WorkWith Coworking Space located on the ground floor of the building.
2. Fun Dealing: Games and Goddesses
Where: Casino Filipino, L’Fisher Hotel, 15th St., Bacolod City
When: November 8, 2019
Ticket Price: Free

Will your luck turn the tables around? Find out at this event! Fun Dealing: Games and Goddesses is a themed Super6 event hosted by Casino Filipino. Players of the event can enjoy higher pay out, gold cards, and max bet promos. There will be guest dealers and D&G Models to accompany the players during the event.
Tip for a better experience: Make sure to keep watch of your belongings. Guests aged 21 below are prohibited in the play areas.
How to get there: From SM City Bacolod, find a Bata-Libertad jeepney and tell the driver to drop you off at L’Fisher Hotel. Cross the road then head to the left side of the hotel. You will see the entrance of Casino Filipino across ShareTea.
3. Wishful Thinking

Listen to Bacolod’s rising musicians and singers during Wishful Thinking at Tippy’s Bistro. Expect live performances from Mojo Nova Band, Stoned Troopers, Negrok, Else, and Doon Doon feat. Kia Retiban--all contenders of Wish’s Wishcovery series. The event is hosted by Rekindle PH, an organization that helps and bridges the gap for aspiring artists by promoting a community that supports local art.
Tip for a better experience: Since the event is free and is open to all, arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the show starts to get good seats near the stage.
How to get there: Coming from North Ceres Terminal, take either a Bata-Libertad or Mandalagan-Libertad going south or downtown. Ask the driver to drop you off in front of PNB Lacson. Cross the street going to BPI Lacson and look for a pedicab. Tell the driver to drop you in front of Tippy’s Bistro.
4. Negros Ink Day 2019
Where: Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Gatuslao St., Bacolod City
When: November 16, 2019
Ticket Price:

Tattoo enthusiasts, watch amateur tattooists exhibit their skills at the Negros Ink Day. Only amateur tattoo artists, together with one model, can join the contest to give non-professional artists more experience in the world of ink. Participants can choose to join either of the two categories: Black and Gray Category and Colored Category. Top and special awards will be presented to the deserving winners during the competition.
Tip for a better experience: Wearing slippers, smoking, vaping, and bringing outside food and drinks are not allowed within the event.
How to get there: From Bacolod Public Plaza, cross the road and wait for a Mandalagan-Libertad jeepney in front of Jollibee Gatuslao branch. Then ask to be dropped off at Ayala Malls Capitol Central. Cross the street and proceed to the entrance.
5. DevFest Bacolod 2019
Where: Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Gatuslao St., Bacolod City
When: November 16, 2019
Ticket Price: Free

Come and learn about multiple product areas, codelabs, hacking, and more at DevFest Bacolod 2019! This community-led developer event is hosted by Google Developer Groups (GDG) around the world. Participants are required to bring their own laptops, for there will be hands-on activities during the conference. Everything you want to know about smooth and organized software development is in this event.

6. Gears Unlimited App Launch - Bacolod
Gears Unlimited is an application that will take the music industry rise to the next level.

Calling all disc jockeys! Gears Unlimited will be launching their official app during the Gears Unlimited App Launch - Bacolod at Kinoboy Restaurant. Prizes like shirts, stickers, and even DJ equipment will be given away in a raffle. Plus, there will be free food and drinks served during the event!
Tip for a better experience: Come to the venue ahead of time to get the best seats in the restaurant.
How to get there: From Bacolod Capitol Lagoon, take a Bata-Libertad PUV heading North Ceres Terminal. Ask the driver to drop you off in front of Rolling Hills Memorial Chapel, then cross the street to arrive at Tom n Toms Cafe. Walk going to Kinoboy Restaurant which is located at the back of Tom n Toms.
7. Babies & Kids Celebrations Fair in Negros
Where: Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Gatuslao St., Bacolod City
When: November 30, 2019
Ticket Price: Free

Babies & Kids Celebrations Fair in Negros is a fun family event to help parents celebrate their little one’s precious milestones from pregnancy to childhood. There will be a kiddie party, baby expo, family fair, and even a Christmas bazaar! Expecting mommies and daddies, it’s your chance to look for good quality baby supplies and products at the event. Parents can also bring their toddlers during the fair and let them have fun in the play area and see the free magic show during the fair.
