Apart from the interesting and quirky themes, some of these coffee shops and restaurants offer unique activities, like petting adorable rabbits. Say ‘Alohomora’ and open the doors to Chapter 9 ¾ Coffee House, Bacolod’s first and only Harry Potter-themed cafe! It welcomes you into the world of Hogwarts, and Potterheads will easily spot the sorting hat, the Gryffindor scarf, and Harry Potter’s silver stag Patronus. Every corner of the room is filled with toys and decorations as well.

Even the labels on the menu are from Harry Potter! For one, there’s the Headmaster’s Platter (PhP189), which consists of a hamburger, cheese fries, cheese sticks, and crackers. And for drinks, they have a mango milkshake called Honeyduke’s Mango Milkshake (PhP60). Indeed, your visit to this cafe will fulfill your dream of being a wizard or witch.

MM’s Bunny Cafe will make you say “Aww!” the moment you enter the establishment. This tiny cafe has an overload of cuteness, from the award-winning rabbits to merchandise in every corner. Here, customers can pet a bunny for either fifteen or thirty minutes, for a low fee of PhP30 and PhP50, respectively. If you’re hesitant due to hygiene issues, don’t worry; the bunnies are odorless, as they clean themselves naturally.
This adorable cafe has a simple menu like nachos, coffee, and frappes. Their best sellers are Caramel Chincilla Popcorn Frappe (PhP135) and New Zealand Nachos (PhP75).

If you are a fan of superheroes and anime, this budget-friendly cafe is perfect for your afternoon chill. Herokami means “We’re heroes” in Filipino and “Hero gods” in Japanese. The place follows the theme through and through, with the owner’s personal collection of figurines on glass display cases and posters of heroes and anime characters on the walls.
Their Hungarian sausage and rice (PhP80) and stuffed potato croquette (PhP45) are must-tries. Other than serving food and drinks, Herokami Cafe also handles events for anime fans such as cosplay events.

Ready your bucket hats because this tropical rainforest-themed cafe will bring you to the world of snakes, geckos, and reptiles. Cafe Reptilya features exotic animals like two Burmese pythons, a bearded dragon, a ball python, an iguana, and leopard geckos. The animals are put in clean and well-lighted display glasses and tables that are enclosed where customers can watch them while eating.
July 2020 Update:Cafe Reptilya is temporarily closed.
You have to pay a consumable fee of PhP100 when you enter the cafe and you can use that amount to order from the menu. Cafe Reptilya isn’t only famous for its concept; it’s also known for its pesto pasta dish (PhP155) and Negrense coffee (PhP50). But make sure to wash your hands before and after you munch!

Going vintage on your next Instagram post? Cafe de Argos is a bike-themed cafe that has Vespas parked inside it. The cafe’s interiors feature brown brick walls, wooden tables, and painted barrel chairs.
Besides showcasing their cute Vespas, the food will give you a tasty ride. Their Spanish sardines pasta (PhP180), all meat pizza (PhP165), and honey tamarind wings (PhP215) are all a must-try. They also have beverages to choose from such as hot or cold coffees and frappes. The establishment is also next to a motorcycle store.
