Flood hits some portions of Bacolod City after heavy rains.

Knee- to waist-deep floods have been reported in Bacolod City as an aftermath of the southwest monsoon rains. Affected barangays include Barangays Alijis and Taculing, where two families were evacuated from their homes because of the shoulder-deep flood in their area.
In July, the Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction Management named four flood-prone areas in the city: Magsaysay-Araneta Streets, Bangga Cory, Gastulao Street, and Reclamation Area. Low-lying places that are also prone to flooding include Barangays Banago, Mandalagan, and Mansilingan.
High speed internet now available at Bacolod airport
Smart Philippines has recently announced that they have deployed free Wi-Fi services at the Bacolod–Silay International Airport. Smart has provided travelers with a connection speed of 200Mbps. They have also conducted speed tests in the area. Results register a download speed of 250Mbps and an upload speed of 200Mbps.
Authorities to strictly enforce traffic regulations

The Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) has begun to strictly enforce the no parking policy along Lacson and Araneta Streets. The policy is effective from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Drivers who violate the No Parking Ordinance will be arrested or given a ticket. First time violators will befined withPhP400.
Water supply in Lopez Jaena-Luzuriaga Streets in Bacolod City has been found to contain coliform bacteria.

Supplier Bacolod City Water District (Baciwa) confirmed the presence of the bacteria which could have infiltrated some leaking pipes in the area. Repair of some 222 meters of water pipes are ongoing while Baciwa temporarily provided clean water to affected residents.

Up Dharma Down is scheduled to perform on September 30, 7:00 PMat Function Hall 3 of the SMX Convention Center - Bacolod. Tickets are available at PhP500 for general admission tickets and PhP1000 for VIP tickets. The concert will be for the benefit of the reconstruction of the Colegio San Agustin gymnasium.
